Two-Bedroom Family Cottage

Our two Family Cottages are standalone homes under traditional Makuti thatched roofs, set on the garden side of the property near the pool. Each cottage has two bedrooms — one with a queen bed, one configured as twins and convertible to a king on request — both with carved Swahili-style headboards and white mosquito-net canopies. Two en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining area, and a wrap-around veranda for breakfast or a sundowner. Polished stone-tile floors and coral-stone walls keep things naturally cool.

The cottages sleep up to five — two couples or a family with up to three children. From the veranda you'll see the pool and the open grass of Ukunda Airstrip beyond, where a handful of small planes come and go each day. Air conditioning in both bedrooms, ceiling fans throughout the living areas, and WiFi included.
